I really like those horribly overpriced nachos they have at the theatre anyways. If you pay $3.50 for nachos, the must be good. So for some reason I've been playing Counter-Strike again lately and strangely playing probably the best I ever have. I'm pretty sure I'll take a dive in to the competition scene if I can make my way in to a central clan after a couple more weeks of practice. I suspect I'll get my ass handed to me and run away crying, but a dude has to try. Also, I forgot to link this the other day. For the folks who have been affected by the post rate limit, have a look at this, er.. no wait I mean have a look at this. Movie: On second thought, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place.

I am looking to get a new computer really dialed up as far as producing music. I already know the sound card I want (ST Audio C-Port RS7000) and am looking to get a computer that can handle all the music software I can throw at it.
I was considering just getting a pretty good dell or gateway system w/ no sound and then installing the soundcard separately.
any advice?

The rubber band is there because the grip screw is missing, naturally I won't be able to shoot it until I get a new set of grips. It's kind of sad though, there's serious rust pitting under the grips, on the outside of the barrel, and in the bore. Someone must have bought it, shot it, never cleaned it, and left it in their dresser drawer or something for 10 or 20 years. But that's ok, I don't know if I could take a collector-grade $800 Python and shoot it. Since this one's fucked up, and sold for an astounding $400, I'll shoot the hell out of it. Probably have it re-barreled and refinished in a few years...

Shadowman 2: Second Coming (PS2)
Alright, I rented this yesterday. Found out from Gamefaqs msg board that it was about a 25-30 hour game. Figured if i didn't beat it this time, i'd rent it again to finish it off. Well, either I was really lucky, or everyone on the Gamefaqs msg board sucks, cause I beat the game in 11 hours. I got everything, all the secret items, health & magic bonuses.
This is a renter.
Graphics:
Good, nothing mindblowing, but solid PS2 stuff. Nice level design. Some sub par skinning.
Sound:
The music sucked. (except for Russia & some of the village)
Everything else sounded fine.
Gameplay:
You can't die, at all. Well you do die, but you have unlimited lives. Items & weapons were cool. Fun puzzles.
Story:
This is the weakest part. Not only does it suck, but they got rid of just about all the creepyness from the first game. I kept playing cause the gameplay was nice, not cause the story was interesting.
Overall:
If you enjoyed the first game, give this a shot. It's nowhere near as creepy, or long, but it's still a solid game.
Another solid rental for the PS2.

Dark smoke fills the scene and pump up music slowly gets louder. The audience sees a ninja and his girlfriend eating at a super expensive restaurant. The girlfriend is so hot that steam is coming out of her mouth or hair. Some old idiot is sitting by the couple. The idiot is giving the girlfriend "the eye" and popping like 16 boners. But the ninja sees the boners and the music really pumps up. The audience knows this guy is dead meat for sure. But out of nowhere, the old idiot pulls off his jacket to show that he is a pirate with lasers and everything. The ninja is like yeah right who cares and then pops the biggest boner ever, bigger than the biggest blackest boner alive. The ninja's boner smashes the entire restaurant. Every single one of the pirate's boners explodes while making a whistling sound. The ninja looks back at his girlfriend. She smiles and they pork.
