Creative Buys 3D Labs

The T-Break Bulletin Board has word that Creative has acquired the high-end graphics card maker 3D Labs. Though at one time Creative stepped out of the US graphics market, it looks like they are ready to get right back in. They continued to sell cards in Europe.

I hope this brings some competition to the graphics market.... now if we could only get a decent designer to step up and start bitchslapping creative in the audio market, we'd have some competition for all markets... = customers teh winnar!

I have three creative cards and personally at first I thought they were nice cards.But I soon learn that was not the case- the banshee suckors and the tnt2 ultra,geforce 2 gts work okay,but not as good as other venders cards.In my opinion it's the software and bios of the cards that fuck things up.
