Renegade Dedicated Server

people are getting mistaked with engine lag, and network lag. It seems like alot of ppl are not playing the single player campaign and they are saying there is alot of lag. Well ive tested it, the lag is pretty decent on my cable modem. For those ppl who have traditional, umm well upgrade to high speed. It seems like the same arguments are coming up when quake3 came out. They optimized it for high speed and the modem users hehe i think they kindov slacked off in that area. Im pretty sure when war 3 comes out, blizzard will finally optimize their bnet for high speed modems, after all there might be a correlation between what you need for your pc, to what speed inet access you have.

Now on the the choppyness, its the engine, and guess what i have the fix, its dumb but what the hell. I have two systems athlon 700 with geforce 256 sdr, athlon xp 1800 with geforce 3 ti 500. I was running this game at lowest evertyhihng low res etc etc, tweaking also and it still totallyyyyyyyyyyyyy chopped. I was like wtf the engine has low polys why cant it handle it. It seems that they optimized it for windows xp, i installed it on both machines and ran it at highest details includuing 32 bit and all the other goodies (1024 res for old athlon and 1600 on new athlon). And guess what it ran smoooooooooooooooooooooooooth like butter, on a chopp at the beginning of each lvl, i guess to loads something and this is with nvidias official drivers!!!!. Anyways, i find the game great, why cuz its fun and dumb ai. The reason why i say dumb ai it is because it reminds me when playing doom, shoot no think and relax, after all is not gaming supposed to relieve stress!!!!. And the multiplayer wow, im very impressed, the game will never work out as a deathmatch game, but it is amazing c&c mode, im not a big ww fan thats why i buy most ww games in the bargain bin ,but this game i have to say was worth my 54 bucks (after all the trouble of installing the new os). Oh yah ppl are saying the enine totally sucks ass, well i do have to admit graphically its not amazing due to the ultra low pollys, but the models are decent due to the textures, and the big areas in the map. Its sooooooooooooo big the map. I would say about litterally 300-400% bigger than the largest team arena map (the snowy lvl), so i guess its kindov close to tribes2 maps (dont really play tribes). If you pump up the graphics to the max i would have to say they are way better than half-lifes buy far, but the low poly counts bring it down to make it look like halflife
