Renegade Dedicated Server

The Westwood FTP is hosting a 42.0mb dedicated server file for C&C Renegade. This beta release runs on Windows 2000, NT and XP, and runs the game's five multiplayer maps in standalone mode. Thanks Blues News. C&C Renegade is shipping to stores in the U.S. today. Update: the file has been pulled. I've been informed this dedicated server was just for the beta version of the game, not the retail version.

So this means that there hasn't been a dedicated server out yet?
Everything we've played so far has been BS games ran on peoples machines while they play?

That'll account for the lag.
