To anyone complaining about a GF2 "beggining to slow down in games" I emplore you to do the following.

Just give 16bit colour a chance.
Trust me, in SCREENSHOTS you can tell the difference, in games you DO NOT NOTICE DIDDLY SQUAT when actually playing and it makes even the newest games playable in 1024x768 on a P3-600.

I'm playing War 3, MOH, RTCW etc all in 16bit colour no problems at all on my P3 600 and GF2.

- you must have lousy color perception then, I notice the difference easily in games : Old_Fart

I have a 850 P3 with 384 megs of RAM, Geforce2 MX 400. I see absolutely no reason to upgrade my either my cpu nor video card (although i might have to because i cant go higher in RAM and i need more for design/graphic related tasks). Games can still be played nicely at 1024x768 with alot of stuff turned on.
The cost of upgrading far outweighs anything i would do with it. I think if you have a better system then me and you upgrade your just wasting your dough...
Im simply gonna wait for DNF and Doom3 before i buy a new card. You can buy GTA3 and a PS2 for the cost of a GF4 4600...

    I guess it depends on your preference. Do you run with 2xAA at 1024x768 with 32bit color and textures? : nofxsux

I run 1600x1200 for the desktop. Of course i also have a 22inch monitor. I hate going to work with measely 1024x768 bah. I think im spoiled these days.

I have a 700 mhz athlon and plan to get a Geforce 4 ti4600. Ahhhh......., Geforce 4 with quin or 4x aa on at a fairly high res, yay!
