Jack or Zoid. Is this a programming position, or a artist posisition? From the term, "Game designer" i'm thinking its more of a level designer type deal, but please clarify.

It is not uncommon to add designers in the middle of a project. (been through that alot) Ussually Porject managers "estimate" how many types of people they willl need for a project. It's easy to low ball the design needs up front. But some where along the middle of the project some one gets the bright idea that more designers would be good. (game play starts to be an issue) Not sure what Relic has in mind but I find that designers have to be involved during the "compromise" phase when ideas start to clash. (cool Big Level + cool Complicated physics + cool Do Everything Scripting = game crashing) (:

So hand in your resume's... Theres Design work to be done out there!!!
