If you were wondering about the performance of a GeForce 4 in the new 3DMark, NVNews has some scores. In 1024x768 with no antialiasing, a GeForce4 Ti 4600 scores almost 10,000 points on an Athlon XP 1800+.

I bet you it if was set at 800 x 600 it would surpass the 10,000 point mark. But who in their right mind plays at 1024 x 768? 1280 x 1024 is where the fun is at! ;)

I think you will see that when you turn on anti-aliasing, the GF4 will perform loads better than the competitors. As it stands I score 8500 with an 8500 (ha) on an athlon 1900 @ 1024 ... so I'm guessing it will really shine, as it has apparently done in q3, when you pump up that AA

Anyone have a gf4 and can testify to this?

The german site that has the MX review uses FAAK2 to benchmark. Unusual?
I think that people should use minesweeper to benchmark...
