even today, the games do not take full advantage of the hardware. however, the games still benefit from increased speed. why does it always seem like the next generation game will take advantage of the present hardware? isn't that a paradox? what came first the next-generation hardware or the next-generation game?
will we reach a point where the hardware so completely surpasses the requirements of the game that it in essence becomes separate and wholly useless? or is this just the way that its supposed to be. continuous improvement in the technology, except the content improves slower.
mindless rant ;-)
