Icewind Dale 2 Announced

Black Isle announced today they'll be developing Icewind Dale 2 and its actually due out pretty soon. It will ship right after E3, on the 28th of May. The press release offers more info about the game. Thanks Blues News.

Damnit I'm still stuck playing Quake and everytime a good 2D game comes out I keep sliding back down the 3D evolutionary tree. Cut that out! At this rate it'll be 2010 before I play Wolfenstein 3D!

I just hope they stop with the undead.Half the encounters in the first Icewind Dale were undead,and Heart of Winter had STOOPID undead. Whole monster manuel,hundreds of cool standard monsters to use.

Hope this doesnt suck because it has probably the shortest life cycle for a game ever and it was only greenlighted to get some cash into interplay in as short a time period as possible.

Hey cool, it kinda stinks that it uses the infinity engine still, but the first Icewind dale provided a fun dungeon crawl and I'm sure the sequel will too.
