IGI2 Screenshots
by Maarten Goldstein, Feb 04, 2002 5:47am PSTThere is a pretty informative IGI 2: Covert Strike interview on IGI 2: Covert Strike (thanks Blue's). There are questions about the developer Innerloop, the game's gameplay (vehicle support, enviromental interactivity, etc), how the graphics and sounds are improved, what kind of multiplayer support we can expect and a lot more.
Mackan: Will the animations from Project IGI be improved? Many have complained that they were a bit static and "unrealistic" in the first game. Are we gonna see Motion-capture perhaps? A: The whole animation system has been reworked, and all the skeletons re-boned. The animations will be much better than IGI1. fractalgp: In recently released screenshots it seems that up close, textures tend to look rather washed out. Will the graphics be enhanced towards the relase of the game, or are they more or less finalized? A: Definitely. Many of the textures are placeholder or are being re-worked; the final graphics haven't really been shown off yet.In related news GamePort and ToTheGame have both been updated with three new screenshots from the game.
