Oblivion Lost Screenshots
by Maarten Goldstein, Jan 29, 2002 5:30am PSTRussian publisher Russobit-M sent along seven new screenshots from another FPS they are publishing, Oblivion Lost. This is a tactical team FPS scheduled for a quarter 2 or quarter 3 release in 2003.
If you're not blessed with a faster internet connection you can go here for scaled down images as the screenshots are some 180 - 200kb in size otherwise.

1) NPC / AI stuff that acts kind of like Grand Theft Auto, except better. I don't even care if it's not amazing anymore, I just want it to be at least one step up.
2) Good combat model.
If they can pull all that off, and it's smooth on my 6800GT, then they've won at least in some sense.
From what peeps are saying about the multiplayer beta, it sounds like they've accomplished the second thing.
Funny, but I can't seem to recall ANY Russian publishers. Is this a new strategy to target US markets?

the "flat tree" look is rediculous...
licence the fricking tribes 2 or serious sam engines if you want good out door terrain...
