Medal of Honor v1.1

A late night surprise for ya, as is the custom with every PC game release there is a patch for Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. You can grab the patch here which is about 15megs. They add the in-game GameSpy server browser although I personally suggest just using All Seeing Eye which has better features. Also there is a fix for the multiplayer godmode cheat.

The only other additions in the patch is some remote control command line stuff and the ability to run servers from command line.

2 things wrong with this game, one of them super gay.
first is your footstep sound goes on for a second or two after you stop moving. very annoying.
the worst thing is that the enemys can see you through bushes and trees, but you cant see them. in a few places they put snipers or other guys behind shit, you CANNOT see them whatsoever. yet they seem to see you fine as every shot hits you. they could have at LEAST made their accuracy lower when you are behind bushes or something for fucks sake.

well it's really not that obvious in that shot but I installed the demo and went to the player setup screen where the two soldier figures are standing there and just burst out laughing at the bizzare scale issues with some of the models. scaling elements of a figure for stylistic purposes, ala many Q3 models, NOLF characters, or the kinda "beefy" almost-Sgt. Rock comic-book figures of the RTCW models is one thing... just looking weird is another.

...just my weird opinion on why I still have $50 for a new game even though I stared at the MOH rack at CompUSA for liek 10 minutes yesterday... I think it will be AvP2....hey I could like MOH but maybe on sale in a few months. it ain't screaming at me to buy it...

This adds an in-game server browser powered by GameSpy, Steve. No need to use _any_ external server browser application if you don't want the community and instant messenger that adds. ;)
