Medal of Honor Mods

Two mods for Medal of Honor: Allied Assault have been released at Medal of Honor Center. There is a blood/gore patch as well as a co-op mod for the Omaha beach level. Also we received word from EA that they'll be releasing a patch for the game which will integrate an ingame server browser and combat some lag problems.

In what "mode" is the Omaha beach map played in, out of the box..? Wouldn't it be Allied vs. Axis and if so, isn't that "co-op" mode..? Enlighten me please, I haven't received my copy yet.. Thanks.
