Jedi Knight 2 Update

The official Jedi Knight 2 : Jedi Outcast site has been updated again, offering five new screenshots from Raven's upcoming Star Wars game. The FAQ has been updated as well with three new Q&As.

In related news, Raven's Kenn Hoekstra dropped by the LucasForums, correcting a recent German preview of the game. There will be more than 20 levels, and more than 10 weapons despite what was said in that preview. Thanks ZeroXcape @ Jedi Knight II.net for that one.

Only a few of the JK2 shot have impressed me... these are not they (actually the third one is pretty sweet). Still, I know this game is gunna be great. Raven has never disappointed me.

- Yeah the environments look really low-poly in these shots, apart from the 3rd one which looks okay. : nudel
- #16, I think a lot of it has to do with the textures. I remember the textures from Elite Force looking ... : skankey

These screens look better than the older ones.

The only problem I see is that it's set in the Star Crap universe.

dont get me wrong i look forward to this game but I just get disallusioned with the people who post things like "looks fucking sweet *fap*" to shots of jk2 while games that look a good deal better, but dont have the name behind it get a "use the q3 engine. these shots suck" - can we please kill some of the bias?

They better have the light saber fights as good as they say they made them. If there was one thing that could've been better in the original, it's the saber mechanics ((no big swings-fests). I want the blocking to be just as good as the attacking...
