Just because management fires a good percentage of the work force to cut costs and drive share price up doesn't mean the company isn't sucking ass.

hmm...just doesn't seem to have the same impact when you cheer for the big guys
Once the northwood chips get up to the clockspeeds they were designed for, peoples' eyes will open up to what a great chip the P4 actually is. I personally plan of getting one once they hit the 3ghz mark.
I'll admit I don't know much about what AMD's future plans are, but I cannot imagine that the Athlon XP will go much higher than 2ghz without a serious overhaul. But correct me if I am wrong.
