NOLF2 Preview

Computer And Video Games has posted a brief preview of No One Lives Forever 2, which comes with three new screenshots from the game. Additional shots are up in this news item.

  • I managed to play upto industrial espionage map. The one where you had to sneak in past the receptionist and steal some documents/take pictures.

    I could not take it anymore after that. I loved Deus Ex, System Shock and the Theif games. But apart from a few cutscenes this just ended up being boring. I can only blame it on the stupid engine. The game always chugged horribly, and input always felt extremely lagged. And this was on a p3-933/gf2/512mb ram which was/is pretty decent. I played around with many graphics settings, which i shouldn't have had to on that system, but it was useless. I might have enjoyed it if it had felt smooth, but playing it just felt like chore and I had to give up.
