There's an interview with Jolyon Leonard of Innerloop on HomeLAN Fed, where he answers some questions about the upcoming IGI 2. There are Q&As on the goals for IGI 2 since not all people were that happy with the original Project IGI, why they switched publishers, the storyline behind the game, the levels and settings, the enemies, the weapons you'll be using, the multiplayer they are including this time, if they'll release mod tools, and a few other things. The game is due out later this year

HomeLAN - IGI2 will finally include multiplayer modes. What can you tell us about your plans for this feature? Jolyon Leonard - Multiplayer will borrow heavily from the singleplayer missions, with multiple objectives, massive environments, and alarm systems. But there is where the similarity ends, rather than being a lone operative there is a focus on team play to achieve the objectives for each map, with teams taking the role of either “attackers” or defenders ...
