So what's the status of NWN now? Have they straightened out the problems with Interplay? Or do they have a D&D license from Infogrames now? I thought they were high and dry, but it looks like they're pushing on as though nothing happened.

Let's see... Hasbro bought WotC (to get the *shudder* Pokemon card game...). Interplay is the licensee of Wizards of the Coast (and still is for a while). Infogrames is the licensee of all Hasbro interactive properties (including WotC who are now owned by Hasbro). When Interplay "times out" on the D&D license, I *think* Infogrames picks it up. When, or how this will happen is one of those happy occasions that warm the miniscule hearts of attorney's everywhere... or as someone I know said about this exact topic: What do you have when you bury a lawyer up to his neck in sand? Answer: Not enough sand.
