Wes Craven's Alice

Looks like the movie based on Alice by American McGee and company is moving forward. In fact they just landed Wes Craven as the director for the film according to this SciFi update. Thanks EA

Wes Craven told SCI FI Wire that he is in development on a computer-animated film version of the video game American McGee's Alice for Dimension Films. "It's very close to the game," Craven said in an interview. "Everything that we can take from the game, we will steal, and then we'll bring even more to it. I'm sure this will be a big CGI picture, and we'll try to duplicate as much of the sort of wonder part of the Wonderland as we can."

update: Old news you say? Ok yeah... this has been known since Maarten posted it a year ago. I think I mentioned something about making mistakes the other day...

Wes Craven is one of the worst movie guys out there. His movies range from mediocre to absolute shit so we can expect that Alice will be mediocre at best.

Oh really? I couldnt disagree more. I thought the weaponry, enemies, and gameline were excellent. A nice departure from the WAY overdone and rehashed stuff weve seen over the last 2 years. To each his own, I guess.
