Jedi Knight 2 Interview
by Maarten Goldstein, Dec 21, 2001 7:37am PSTOver at PC Shooter you can find an interview with LucasArts producer Brett Tosti who answers a bunch of questions about Jedi Knight 2 : Jedi Outcast. The questions are about which characters we'll encounter in the game, switching between first and 3rd person perspective, the Jedi Mind Trick, the multiplayer support, if there will be any special tricks for the GeForce 3 or Radeon 8500, the current state of the game and why people who aren't interested in Star Wars might want to keep an eye on this game.
For those gamers who are not Star Wars fans, what reasons would you give them to spark their interest in Jedi Knight II? BT: Beyond the deep compelling story and high-paced action, Jedi Outcast has some very unique game features not seem in other FPSÂ’s. Your ability with the lightsaber to not only attack but to defend yourself adds a different gameplay element. And of course the wide range of force powers intermixed with the conventional weapon arsenal not only makes for an interesting single-player game but adds a whole new level of depth to the multi-player experience.
