by Maarten Goldstein, Dec 17, 2001 6:04am PSTSo I think we'll be doing our yearly Game of the Year voting again soon, probably this morning after I go over a few things with Steve. We won't include every PC game that has gone gold this year, but it should be a pretty fair representation of what games were actually played most or what we reported about the most here on the site. We'll also allow you to vote on the best console game released this year. Are there actually any useful anti-spam laws? It seems every year you hear about more countries banning the use of spam emails but the stuff only increases. I delete a spam email probably once every 15 minutes. And of course those opt-out links never work, and opt-out emails bounce. Very annoying.

Okay, maybe not, but I haven't posted in three entire days.
So I'm eating the last of dinner when my father suddenly storms into the kitchen with about three to five pairs of blue jeans in his arms. He asks me what size pants I wear. I say 36, and he exclaims, "These are all 28! Well now I guess you know what you're getting for Christmas!" It turns out that he snuck into the dresser drawer that I haven't used for about six or seven years. We all laughed.
Of all the things I thought I'd forget, I left behind my Discman and my headphones. I bought a pair of $30 Aiwa headphones on Saturday, only to discover that they sucked the poo (way too sensitive for a large pair, sucky bass, amplified midrange, and a flimsy cord). I went to Tweeter to see what they had, but the cheapest pair was $100, and sounded almost no better than the MDR-CD180s I swear by). I'll just buy a second pair at Best Buy, I guess.

I onyl go to Jamaican clubs cause very few other clubs have the same sort of vibe.
Anyway i had stopped listening to Jamaican music for awhile cause everything was sucking so bad.
I went to this club with very low expectations.
Holy shit it kicked ass, the music was still just club filler but the club i went to had a 2:1 ratio of females to males
and theres a new dance out, the club was filled to capcity and there was girls dancing on tables and generally being unruly it was a beatiful thing, i might go back next week.
The club i went to was yellowbird in CT if anyone has any suggestions for good Jamaican clubs in NY let me know.
P.S Please don't mention ACT III , Shanes Villa the Paladium or that one in new rochelle the name escapes me.
