So how about that Medal of Honor demo huh. I played a few games and enjoyed myself, though the demo size itself was obscenely large and I feel EA dropped the ball on a few other things. FFA is nice, but how do you want to compete with games like RTCW if you don't include a team mode which has everyone hooked in Wolfenstein right now? Hopefully they'll release another demo with another level that suits team play more, or maybe a spectacular single player demo because it seems many people were turned off by the weak impression that the demo made on them. Also the menu interface makes me think of games from the early 90s when they just started using prerendered graphics complete with the "find out where the menu option actually is!" adventure. Always nice to see someone trying to break away from the common interface, but at least make it better and not worse. So I picked up my free set of Euro coins today. To get everyone in the Netherlands used to the new money that we and 11 other countries we'll be using as of January 1 2002, the government gave everyone some free coins. They don't look bad for the most part, except for the 50, 20 and 10 cent coins which look like those chocolate coins. Not having to exchange money within Europe will be nice though. Also, the new Spiderman trailer is up. Thanks enigmatic. Much better than that crappy teaser they released a while ago. Oh and lastly, thanks haiku, for the Holiday logo.
