Late Night Consoling

With MGS2 behind me, I'm slowly progressing through Grand Theft Auto III, although I'm planning on putting it aside this weekend to jump into Shenmue II. GTA3 is really the perfect game to play between other games. It's so free-form that weeks can go by and I'll still be able to remember exactly where I was when I left off. At this rate it'll be a year before I actually finish it, but who cares? I'm having a blast nonetheless.

Console Game of the Evening: Fighting Vipers for the Sega Saturn. It's got cheezy music, some of the biggest hair seen since the 80's (which never actually ended in Japan, apparently) and it still manages to be a really fun fighting game. Go fig.

  • is it just me or are they going to have to completely rewrite GTA3 to make it any better?

also I personally think redoing Return to Castle Wolfenstein for the germans was a mistake...i think that they should have left it the way it was to show how ridiculous the law is...so the game doesnt get sold there...they'd be doing something for the greater good

sure the game isnt going to be the deciding factor in fact it probably wouldn't matter in the least but at least its a start...if enough people complain and tell the government how stupid the law is maybe it'll make a change...and if not then you're no worse off than when you started
