Q3 Generations Arena Soon

We got an email announcing that the Quake 3 mod Generations Arena will be released next Thursday at 8PM CST. The Generations mod recreates the gameplay and physics from the previous id games in Quake 3. The first release will include all five Generations, more than 40 weapons, new powerups and effects, techs, grapples and several other things. Word is even that this mod won't be foxed.

    I've played the QCon Beta (from back in August) and I enjoyed it...and this one is going to be much more complete from what I've heard (albeit, its still a first release beta...so there will be a few things missing that will be added later). Really, I'm looking more forward to this than any retail game coming out...and CTF looks like it'll be really cool too. I'm probably this mod's biggest fanboy, but the idea of something that combines all the different DM'ing styles into one mod is pretty cool and more importantly, it'll have FAST gameplay!!!!!
