Seven new maps for the Quake 3 mod Urban Terror have been released. These are the winners of a recent Level Design contest. The map pack is a 52mb download and is available from several mirror sites listed on the UT news page. Thanks TomD.

I wish these guys would stop fucking around and add real gametypes to the mod. Its like a realism mod without over exaggerated recoil and great weapons combinations and nice network code. Community is also doing a great job in adding to the mod. Those maps look great.

Sad to see all that good stuff wasted on ffa and ra style "teamplay". Props to SID for their work.

We enjoyed all the levels, but had to make some cuts, which left us with six levels that were a step above the rest
