by Steve Gibson, Jul 07, 1999 1:04pm PDTThe guys at PlanetUnreal sent word of this really interesting use of the Unreal engine being done by an architectural firm based in Dallas, TX. They are modeling projects in Unreal/UnrealED before building their stuff full scale. The screenshots are pretty damn cool looking. Check out a few: Shot 1 | Shot 2 | Shot 3 | Shot 44

That\'s the IOTD for today, feel free to come up with a caption to it too!
there is no licensing to use q3radiant when it\'s released. there\'s no licensing to show a client something in quake3.
there are two reasons q3 won\'t be as popular - it has no software renderer and q3radiant is alot harder to use than unrealEd
Unreal editor seems to be working just fine for these guys - Q3 is just rehash b.s. anyhow. Sure, curved surfaces, thats nice, but yay.
Hey...didn\'t XxSoulxX post this stuff like a couple of days ago over on the Gigaboard?
