While this happened 2 days ago, Super Smash Bros. Melee and Pikmin for the Nintendo Gamecube are now out in stores. The games were two of the more eagerly anticipated games for the Gamecube. I've also written up review pages for them.

How about the intro to SSB:M? I thought it was spectacular! I was never introduced to the 64 version so i'm green to the game, but to see all the nintendo characters together was amazing. It's clear nintendo isnt screwing around. The competition is FIERCE!

SSBM is just like the original as far as crazy gameplay, which is to say, totally awesome!!

If you ever wondered why Kirby kicks so much ass in this series, it's because HAL Laboritories, who developed both SSB games, also made the entire line of Kirby games.

SSBM is such a great game. Not only visually stunning but just damn fun to play. It's too bad that my favorite move from the original, throwing, is so completely fucked over by nintendo's poor controller design. Come on, why'd they have to put the Z button there, that just makes me mad.

I got Pikmin and SSB a week ago, and both games are very awesome. I have unlocked everything except a couple of stages in SSB, and I have gotten to day 22 in Pikmin. Good stuff.

Aveil and I picked up Super Smash Bros. Melee last night (Along with the racing game Extreme G3) and I should have a review up by this weekend. So far? Very satisfying. I need to reacclimate myself to the moves, but overall the level of effort put into this seems incredible.
