HomeLAN Fed has an interview up with Rick Johnson, asking the Raven programmer about the recently announced multiplayer mode in Soldier of Fortune 2. There are questions about the late start of the MP project, the possibility of CTF being included, how many maps will ship, if there will be any MP-exclusive weapons, bots, and a few other things.

HomeLAN - Currently how many multiplayer maps will be in SOF2 and how would describe the maps in terms of settings and types? Rick Johnson - We are looking to ship around 6 maps, possibly more, depending upon time and CD space (we are really squeezing to get the game onto 2 CDs right now). Maps range from outdoors, to city streets, roof tops/buildings, etc. We've tried to add in as much variety as possible.

Oh man, 2CDs? Why the hell don't they just use a single DVD? I can guarantee that every computer with the minimum specs for this game will have a DVD drive.
