Over the holiday weekend some more rumored/alleged specs on the next-gen videocard from NVidia at NVNews, the GeForce4 card slipped out on to the net. Back in July/August we caught some first glimpses at the planned specs, but now in November chances are most of this stuff is in to the implementation stages.

The GPU comes in January/February 2002, while professional boards should be available in the second quarter. * 6 Pixel pipelines * Core freq: 300 MHz. * Memory: 660 MHz. (eff) ~ 10.5 GB/sec BW, assuming they stay with 128-bit data paths. * Supports TwinView * Supports (finally) Hardware iDCT * More powerful T&L unit, to include a second Vertex Shader * AA Features. * .13u Manufacturing process
Also, noticed at /. someone linked these articles here and here from July.
