id's Todd Hollenshead updated his .plan file with a list of stores which should have the Tin edition pre-orders of Return to Castle Wolfenstein tomorrow, along with a few Tin editions for those who didn't preorder. Todd also mentions the Prima strategy guide should be out on Friday.

According to my sources at Activision, the following stores will have the game available tomorrow, Tuesday November 20: CompUSA Best Buy EB (USA) Gamestop
EB (Canada)

I'm hoping there isn't lots of that damned "Super Mario" crap, leaping from crate to swinging crate. Some of it's ok, to add alittle dimension, but it just friggin' sucks.

I see Xian's been here; please don't have lots of that Super Mario crap in Doom 3 either. I fondly remember a bit in Daikatana (yes I actually played it) on the last couple of levels it was one horrible Super Mario room after another, totally negating any redeemable virtue the game may have come up with. Having to solve puzzles works, but that mindless leaping from brick to brick while dodging turtle shells has been beaten to death and gets really old in a hurry.

What's with the allied player models in the multiplayer demo? It's like the Tuskeegee infantryman. Not a white guy to be found as far as I could tell.

I think black riflemen were extemely rare if they existed at all in WWII. Although they manned artillery positions and moved supplies.

I've decided I'm not going to buy the Tin box edition. It comes with a cloth patch + a poster.

* Poster - I have my entire room covered with posters, no room for a new one
* Patch - That's pretty stupid IMO. No reason for it.

That ain't worth $10 IMO.
