by Steve Gibson, Nov 17, 2001 6:03pm PSTWeekends are such fun stuff. Checked out some GameCube stuff with Jack although only briefly. Ended up mostly watching Berenger play Metal Gear Solid 2 a bunch. That game is just as cool to watch as it is to play.

Absolutely gorgeous.
Some of the trails were huge & lasted several seconds. They seemed to be falling in waves, with a few strays in between larger groups.

Like Quagmire said, it was beautiful. I only stopped watching because the tempo of them seemed to really die down to the point where I hadn't seen one for about 5 minutes and I was getting cold as hell. I'm so glad I checked my icq before going to bed with my gf to get a msg from one of her friends about it happening tonight.
I couldn't help but breath "all across the universe" by the Beatles a few times :p

I went out with some friends to "Hety's Cut", some driveway on the side of a mountain that is right near James Hetfield's house. Apparently he's the singer for Metallica. We layed on the street and watched the stuff for quite a while. Pretty cool, but got monotonous after too long.
