Pretty sure I'm not gonna rush out and buy an XBox today or anything but will certainly prod my friends in to doing it. Somehow I doubt Jack will be interested in picking one up. The woman picked up The Sims: Hot Date as expected. She actually drove off and got it before I even woke up... I guess it's good if you like that stuff. The Q3 Urban Terror website guys took it upon themselves to try and stuff our poll. As much as I can appreciate their enthusiasm for their mod and trying to sway the poll. the intent of the poll is to reflect the wishes of Shackers as the game servers will be for Shackers, not just guys who happen to get sent here to vote in the poll. Sure it's possible for you to still vote, but then you're ruining the poll, by changing it's intended measurement. It wasn't intended to measure the opinion of people who infrequently visit the website.
Now, if ut.net or cs.net or any outside group comes in and stuffs our poll, then the poll no longer reflects the opinions of the shugashack.com community - since the people who were instructed to stuff our poll are not (on the most part) regular parts of the shugashack.com community.
Here's a parallel - I am canadian, and therefore don't have the right to vote in the U.S. elections. Just because it would be possible for me to go commit vote fraud and vote in the US elections doesn't mean that it is now a morally acceptable thing to do. A vote (or poll) is intended to measure the opinions of a selected group of people - in this case the shugashack.com community.

In MIPS assembly, there is a hardcoded 0 register ($zero). I have heard that there is also a hardcoded 1 register as well, although I am kind of doubtful about this. Can anyone confirm or deny how this is represented?
xp or 2000?
i'm leaning towards xp. has anyone had any problems with it? the only thing i'm worried about is my games working (ut, rct, hl, xw) and my sound card still working (diamond monster mx300).

I've tried playing office space and full metal jacket on my new ps2 (just got it today for mgs2!) and they've got weird choppy output.. like the h-scroll is off, and it's mostly black and white.

firstly, what kind of output am I looking at for 't0 & t1'? When will this be true and activate the if statement.
Also, what does t3 += t1 equate to? Would look this stuff up in a book but I'm at the library.
