I wasn't that impressed by the Tick. The only funny character was Batmanuel. Its hard to transfer the humor from the cartoon to a tv series. Maybe the next one will be better.

The pilot was fucking HILARIOUS! OMG, Tick humor is soo great. Something like this could only survive on Comedy Central or the SciFi network tho, not public broadcasting. Hahahah I mremember watching the pilot last year in my dorm room.. .hahah man.. giant communist robot... and WHO LEAVES GUM ON THE ROOF OF A BUILDING? oooh man, Tick, how I missed thee.. This will be great for those who watch the "adult" episodes on Cartoon Network.. like with Birdman as an attorney, etc.

anyone know how many eps they shot? seems at least moderately likely they won't produce any more, as much as i loved the animated series i don't see this getting enough viewership to work.

tho who knows, maybe it's different enough to become a fad, hard to say. i think survivor and wwf should pretty much suck up all the goobers though, and that's the vast majority of the viewing audience.

Not bad, GCR was cool. Putty seems to be doing a good job, he just doesnt quite have it yet though. Arthur was a pussy in the crtoon, and he needs to be.

GOD im gonna be so stoned come 7... personally i think family guy and futurama have surpassed the simpsons int he last 2 years as the funniest cartoon on tv. i can't wait for the tick either, puddy should be awesome as the tick. now if only futurama could get a shot, and comedy central started up TV funhouse again this could be the greatest comedy season for shows in years.

This episode was leaked in a "rough cut" form a while ago.
I won't reveal anything, but it is pretty funny, albeit low budget (obviously).
