Caryn Law sent along the latest Return to Castle Wolfenstein update, straight from Gray Matter's Greg Goodrich. Here's what Greg had to say

"With the map test, the QA department at Activision, Id, Gray Matter, Nerve, and friends and family, there are a lot of eyes looking and playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein right now. It's a wonderful thing and it will go a long way to making the game as robust and solid as possible. Right now we're still in the Beta phase fixing bugs, tweaking cut-scene cameras and adding story polish where needed. I can safely say this game is getting the attention it deserves."

I was hyped up as hell about this game, but the multiplay demo totally took all the hype away. I'm not sure, but if the single player isn't totally amazing and replayable, it can go down the crapper with the rest of em. Too many cookie cutter fps to not turn into a cynical asshole towards the gaming industry.

I havent played the MP demo (56k)... but Ive heard alot of mixed opinions about it
I'll be buying this for the single play aspect, for sure, but It worries me when developers say that because Ive never seen it live up to comments like that.
