For the few of you still stuck with the ol' Voodoo 4 or Voodoo 5, there are new drivers out, released by a company called AE Software Technologies. These drivers work in Win2k and WinXP. Thanks 3dxtreme.

I bought a voodoo4 at staples for $30 last month. Definitely beats spending $100 on a geforce2 and both cards will last another year tops.

im pretty sure a geforce3 will go into any agp slot, and i doubt the agp 1x would limit it speed by much anyway. im guessing with that old a motherboard your cpu is going to limit the speed though :P

anyone with V5 should get these.

I'm running a V5500 on a TBird 1.2ghz
256 mb sdram pc133

and my increase in quake 3 was around 13 fps.
Pretty good if you ask me *shrug*

I had a friends MX400 because I was running xp for a bit
and I found that it only score 44fps in Q3A on my setup.
