Via Makes Motherboards

Via Technologies, who as many people know have been fighting with Intel because of their P4 compatible chipset have decided to put out their own motherboard line as many motherboard manufacturers have been afraid of Intel pulling the plug on them if they were to cooperate with Via.

    So are they the next to go out of business? ie 3dfx & aureal.

      No. They'll keep reselling their chipsets to other companies as well as making their own mobos.. which is what 3DFX should have done. And VIA inately has the ability to produce the motherboards, and everything else, because they already have the facilities.. unlike 3DFX who dropped all of their money into manufacturing plants in Jaurez, Mexico and tried to start making their own boards.
