Civilization 3 has been announced by Firaxis as gone gold! Meaning we should be able to find it in stores within the next couple of weeks. Supposedly Civ3 is about 1 better than Civ2.

This is going to be better than Civ2 in alot of ways. You can look up the press release/fan sites for this stuff.

But one warning; it seems to be missing some expected features. Most Civ fans are concerned about mod-scripting and multiplayer. Maybe in a patch or an add on.
