CS Condition Zero Interview
by Maarten Goldstein, Oct 01, 2001 10:14am PDTMGON has posted an interview with Randy Pitchford of Gearbox, talking about the upcoming Counter-Strike: Condition Zero game. There are Q&As about the structure of the single player game, what making single player levels compared to multiplayer levels is like, enviroment types, squad training and more.
MGON: A system of squad training has been vaguely hinted at in the past. What role will this system play in the game? Randy Pitchford: When you recruit a new squad member, they’re going to be green recruits with a lot that can be improved upon. As the missions get more difficult it’s going to be important to invest in training for your team to improve their team tactics and their skill with the various weapons. There are a wide variety of skills that can be improved upon with training – of course training comes at a cost.
