2In response to that TF2 article I posted yesterday, Sierra has put out a statement on AVault saying that TF2 is not in fact a year away, but slated for "due out next year" or something. Well here's the quote:
[Note: Although we were originally told Team Fortress 2 was ''a year off' from release, Sierra has amended this statement to say the game is ''due out next year.]

Just release the game \"when its done\" and end this nonsense. Don\'t speculate. I\'m sure Valve didnt plan on scrapping Half Life and extending the project another year, but it happened. Why paint yourselves into yet another corner? Argh.
