All the Linux users can now be happy, as id has released the Linux client for the Return to Castle Wolfenstein multiplayer test as seen on LinuxGames. There's a 65mb full download or a smaller download for those of you who already downloaded the Win32 version.

Works great... in my system (Custom assembled RH 7.1 based distro) with X 4.0.1, Kernel 2.4.3 and SB Live! using ALSA I get 5-8 FPS more than under WIn2K... H00rj!

even though i don't use Linux, i think this is maximum cool. Most ppl who are into Linux are gamers as well, and if the Doom3 engine runs on linux we might see a fair proportion of games running on this platform. Which will make life more interesting for BOFHs anyways :)

  i liked the sten at first. but am now liking the mp40. I think I will try the thompson again. : hirez
