I can think of a few bugs in Half-Life that still need to be patched, and they haven't been patched. How about having the rendering engine do the menu if you're running in OpenGL? Why not fix the secret -32bpp mode so that it works? How about boosting the simultaneous sound channel sentence/pitch shift limit to something above 16?
