It has been confirmed that the "Northern Alliance" is responsible for the attacks on Afghanistan. The Afghan terrorist leader (Not the leader of Afghanistan, just the resident terrorist) is currently not taking responsibility for the terrorist actions in the US actions but does blame "American policy" for what has happened. The bombing in Afghanistan as of this posting has just stopped . Other things of note:
- Five US warships have been deployed to protect the US east coast - All US air travel is on hold until noon tomorrow - 2,100 confirmed injuries, with several thousand still unaccounted for - Another tower (The 47-story "Building 7") at the WTC has collapsed. - The fifth airliner was not hijacked, but was forced down to be safe. - If you're capable, please donate blood. By definition, the Taliban was/is now linked at the hip with bin Laden. He is part of the Taliban government, so therefore, if he is responsible, the the Taliban should also be held responsible.

How hard would it have been if they had help on the ground. Say a conspirator who was security or who was on the ground crew who could have hidden weapons. I mean... could it happen? Do you think that the leader was a smart guy? Do you think he may have told each of these cells only what they needed to know about their mission? Perhaps he kept the cells so separate that they knew nothing of the other cells ... or that there were even other cells. If one of the cells gets burned then they really do have plausible deniability, right?

Fuck guys, I've been going over this in my head all day. This 'incident', if I can be so callous as to call it a mere 'incident' has me worried and frothingly angry inside at the same time. What if this is the ominous beginning of something bigger... worse. I know my theory is Tom Clancyish but he's pretty smart and his stories are more real than we all care to admit (that's why we like em, right?)

To me it seems this way, the passengers on the plane would of most likely just been told that the plane was being hijacked. Or if the terrorists did not inform the passengers of what has happening at all, the majority of people would have assumed a straight hijacking was taking place. In this situation, 99% of people would not risk taking action because a straight hijacking does not necessarily mean definite death. It is extremely unlikely that the terrorist force would have announced "ok we intend to fly this plane into a building" for that exact reason... otherwise at least some people would of died trying to prevent the crash.
