UT Demo Notification

it\'s been 24 hours since the demo was released... and still no notification.... wow what a great service.

There is a GOOD fps out there. It\'s called Q3Test, and it appeals to those of us who can handle an increase in playing speed, and who can accept a little change here and there.

So you\'re not an Unreal fan boy, but like Unreal fan boys you like to put all Q3Test players in the same bucket. I used play Q2 all the time. I have moved on, because I think Q3Test is just better. Not that Q2 was bad, it was great, I just think Q3Test rocks. I hope the full game is just like the test.

As for people saying \"burn epic burn\" those are people who got ripped off by Epic, or people who were sick of Epic claiming to have a \"Quake killer\" only to end up having a \"Quake wannabe\" game. You also claim that nobody here has seen UT, well some have. And the comparison between Half-Life and Q2 is not valid, UT has the same graphics as Unreal, Half-Life had a much different engine from Q2. Don\'t forget, people have every right to critisize Epic for what they have done in the past. If somebody ripped out off and lied to you, the next time they offer you something would you say \"oh yes please, I\'ll believe anything you say\" or would you say \"fuck you donkey-raping cockmasters, I\'ll tell everyone what cheaters you are until you prove beyond reasonable doubt that you can make a game that lives up to your hype\". Think about it.

#58: what a moron. Accoding to Epic tolls like him, everyone who enjoys playing Quake3 is \"biased\". And everyone who doesn\'t like Unreal automatically also hates every other game under the sun.

I bet he also thinks that UT/Unreal fans are very unbiased and judge other games solely on their merits. Everything is black and white.

Yeah. And Unreal is as good as the Epic movies and screenshots that flooded the net before its release.

Hey, do any of you know more about this \"Creative Labs glide wrapper\" thing that is supposed to be able to run the tu 3dfx only demo with a CL TNT2 Ultra???

I remember the original plan updates Carmack did about QuakeWorld, and it was pretty clear that *he* was the one writing the code.
He said when the coded Quake he didn\'t really think about modem latency too much since he has a T1 in his house, so QW was supposed to fix that. Zoid/Morbid/whatever might have helped him but he definately did a lot of coding for it.

you guys are extremely confused, xian is a mapper, he made the tourney map...Kevin Cloud, Adrian Carmack and Kennith Scott are the pixel pushers...
