Excite@Home Dropped

This is not an immediate ending of their deal and Excite hopes to reach a new agreement before the partnership ends on June 4 2002. It's uncertain what happens to the Cox and Comcast Excite@Home Internet customers if no new agreement is reached. In related Excite@Home news, the board of directors have authorized the company to hire an investment banking firm to advise with the needed restructure of the company. Excite@Home is in trouble with a huge debt and investors coming to collect.

Its not really uncertain. I am with comcast and 2 weeks ago they said in a letter that they'd be switching from "comcast@home" to Comcast "High speed internet access". My email would change fromxx@home.com to xx@icomcast.com.
I called them yesterday to find out more. I asked about speed caps. She said the speed caps @home used were a problem and we now can "buy" more upload speed if we desire it.
Sounds like an improvement to me. :)
