Blizzard's New Game

I really don't see what concept they could have for a first-person shooter....... I'm sure there's people waiting with baited breath for Starcraft 2........and Diablo 3 is a no-brainer. Tho, I would like to see Blizzard launch a successful NEW franchise.

the reason they do that is becuase people like us only make up a small percentage of gamers that actually know about upcoming game so they dont care. Most gamers just casually pick up a game that looks interesting to them and they get it.

this is good, because all blizzard games are very very good. This means another very very good game is on the way.

only reason that john cash left id in the first place.. he couldn't help making fps games for shit, so why...in..the..hell...would blizzard make a fps game? uhhh it's probably starcraft 2 or someshit

I'm pretty sure it's FPS or TPS title because they wanted to hire my friend's brother (who makes Quake3 custom maps) as a map designer.

I just have this feeling that the announcement will concern a persistent world type Diablo game. Blizzard probably saw the skazillions of people playing over Battle.net, and thought... "Now, how could we make MORE money on this?"

Gee I love it when they announce games that won't be out for years. id also did this recently when they announced Quake4 at Raven, not to mention their Doom3 thingie. And Epic announced that Legend was working on Unreal2 before UT even came out. So lets see, U2 has been in the works for at least 2 years now (since Legend finished their last addon for U1).

Fuck, as if waiting for another game isn't hard enough. I sorta appreciate not knowing what the hell Valve is working on, because I have no idea what to be impatient for. is it TF2? HL2? Counterstrike2?

blah, fuck the hype machine mentality. hype the game when you at least have something to show for it, don't fucking announce you have a team that has started working on a game. that's worse than a tease.
