Serial ATA Standard
by Maarten Goldstein, Aug 29, 2001 6:45am PDTLooks like our harddrives will be a lot faster in the next year. A new standard has been reached, Serial ATA. This new ATA standard allows transfers up to 600MB per second and does away with the old ribbon cables.
