Nvidia's Personal Cinema
by Maarten Goldstein, Aug 28, 2001 5:54am PDTLooks like NVidia will finally be offering some competition to ATI when it comes to watching and recording TV on your PC. They are coming out with Personal Cinema for their GeForce 2 and 3 line of cards. You can watch live TV, pause it, record it, watch DVDs and more. Thanks Syclone. Here is a page on NVidia about it btw.

Both ATI and Matrox have failed this test. With Windows XP approaching and Windows 2000 so popular, they need to give good support.

If they made it an add-on board, like the Hauppage WinTV, that would rock. I could always use another TV tuner.
