The new 1Ghz Duron processor has been reviewed by AnandTech. The new Duron is based on the latest core called Morgan and should be a little faster than the previous Duron core.

BTW, anyone know if an AMD 1.2 MP cpu vs an AMD 1.2 T-Bird which is faster (I'm guessing the MP) and if so by how much?

Do not mention "MUCH FASTAR IN SMP MODE!!" I couldn't give a shit for SMP mode.

Nope she's slower than a normal t-bird @ 1.0.

I'm thinking about going standard 2100 DDR and MP / Athlon 4 CPU in a few weeks, around the 1.4ghz mark.

I'm currently @ 1.4ghz on a KT7A but 133mhz not 2100.

Think I should just wait for the Nforce? (i think I might)

- it is slower on the abit kt7, but on the gigabyte board its faster, as well as the tyan. : Turd Ferguson
