Homeworld 2 Dead?
by Maarten Goldstein, Aug 21, 2001 7:50am PDTThe Adrenaline Vault is reporting through "an inside source" that Homeworld 2 has been cancelled after all even though it was reported yesterday that the game was still in development. The cancellation has not yet been confirmed by Sierra. According to this news story on Relicnews.com though, Relic has been released from their contract with Sierra. Until all parties publically speak out it doesn't seem we will know the truth any time soon. Thanks Blue's. Update: Blues News has received a statement from Sierra, saying pretty much all that has been reported about is not true. Homeworld 2 has not been cancelled, and Relic has not been released from their contract with Sierra. Any contract negotiations with Relic are not related to Sierra's restructuring (story).
