GameStop Expo 2012 open to the public
For the first time ever, GameStop's annual conference will be open to the public.
3Fan page ColdWar: Flashpoint is reporting that the North American version of Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis has gone gold (thanks Blue's News). The local version incorporates the latest updates and also includes additional features (which will be made available soon for owners of the international version). Look for it to arrive on store shelves in early September.

the single player is fun as hell, i've gotten pretty far into the euro version, and it gets really hard. the mission editor is amazing, and the multiplayer games we've had here at my apartment have been a blast.
