The local version incorporates the latest updates and also includes additional features (which will be made available soon for owners of the international version). The graphics really suck, the single player gets boring but the multiplayer kicks ass and the addition of the mission editor is really nice.

the single player is fun as hell, i've gotten pretty far into the euro version, and it gets really hard. the mission editor is amazing, and the multiplayer games we've had here at my apartment have been a blast.
